Kindness Week - Anti-Violence and Vandalism Week
Each year, Franklin Township School recognizes the state mandated Anti-Violence and Vandalism Week with Kindness Week. Below are some of the activities we will be working with the students. Kindness is also one of our Fireball Four!!!
Monday - "Courage is Kindness" - Talk about what it means to be courageous.
Tuesday - "It's Raining Compliments" There is always a reason to say something kind. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves to see how many compliments they can give each other.
Wednesday - "Be the friend you would want to have." - Say, "hello," smile and show caring to someone who may need some extra care today.
Thursday - "Postcards of Gratitude" - Students will write or draw a picture of appreciation for someone.
Friday - "Be Kind to Your Mind" Being kind to others starts with being kind to yourself. Give yourself a hug, breathe and have a great Friday!
