Governor’s Teacher of the Year and Educational Service Professional of the Year Award
This award is generated by the New Jersey Department of Education each year to recognize individuals at every school in New Jersey for excellence in the classroom. Congratulations to Miss Yawger, Kindergarten teacher, for receiving the Teacher of the Year Award and to Miss Pratola, paraprofessional, for receiving the Educational Service Professional of the Year. These two individuals were nominated for this award from members of the Franklin community and will be recognized at a county luncheon later in the year. Well deserved!
Elizabeth Ames Legacy Wall Recognition and Board Meeting, Tuesday at 6:00
Our Legacy wall is located in our front lobby, dedicated to Elizabeth Ames, board member for Franklin Township School District for over 50 years. On Tuesday we will have our second Legacy Wall recognition for Mary Sullivan, Principal and Child Study Team Coordinator, and Karen Chui, library clerk and paraprofessional/EMT. Both individuals served the community of Franklin for over 30 years. Congratulations to both! Our last board meeting of the calendar year will be held right afterwards.
