New Assistant Principal/Director of Special Services, Maggie Hutchins!
Greetings, Franklin Township Community!
My name is Maggie Hutchins and I am the new assistant principal and director of special services here at Franklin Elementary School. I have been busy spending the month of August getting to know our wonderful school, and cannot wait to meet our students.
I currently live with my husband and our 5 children who range in age from 14 to 20, as well as our 2 dogs and 4 cats. You can usually find us at various ice hockey rinks on the weekends, and in the rare instance we do not have hockey I really love to be home cooking, gardening and reading.
In my 20 years of education I have learned that when educators and parents work together through a collaborative and communicative approach, our children have the potential for immeasurable success. I am here as a resource for you and will always do my best to ensure each student receives the personal, caring attention needed to be successful in school and beyond. I hope to have the opportunity to connect with each of you and in the meantime if I can be of any assistance please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

We encourage everyone to complete the YMCA child care form located at the link below. In an emergency, a student CANNOT participate unless the parents have completed the document for each child.
Back to School Nights
Back to School Nights will be on the following Dates:
Kindergarten to 4th Grade - Monday, September 11 @ 6:00
Preschool, 5th and 6th Grade - Tuesday, September 12 @ 6:00 (YMCA provide Child Care for K-6, email meagleburger@franklinschool.org to RSVP)
