Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Workshop Series
MBSRBMindfulness-based Stress Reduction was created to help parents manage stress.  While this workshop will be helpful to ALL parents, it will be especially helpful for parents of individuals with special needs. Mindfulness is a way of relating directly to whatever is happening in your life, meeting your experience skillfully and with an open heart.  Mindfulness training is an antidote to the habitual response patterns that lock us into routines that undermine emotional and physical health. This workshop series will introduce you to ways to better take care of yourself and to live more attentively and happily. There is more RIGHT with us than is WRONG with us.  The focus will be on finding ways to access our energy, insights and resources so that we can notice the joys around us & face reality with a positive , healthy perspective.  Please see this brochure for more information.
